Despite never-ending debate, nurture has proven itself more consequential in one’s fate than nature. We have no control - no say at all - in our nature, yet it remains a leading reason for behavior unbecoming of our character. Jenisys Battle is a youth mentor, teacher and coach that recognizes the importance of nurture in overcoming the potential shortfalls of our nature, especially as it pertains to our youth. Though, the benefits of this perspective remain concealed without an understanding of its key driver [honesty]. Rooted in love, voiced as motivation, and expressed with passion, Jenisys delivers his kids the truth; ugly as it may be. A formula for nurture that may propel our future leaders beyond the ceiling of their nature.

The Ugly Truth was a breath of fresh air around America. Support from parents, coaches, and the Columbus community were part of the 500k+ organic impressions in the first month. Jenisys was reinstated to his position.
